This month’s message; “Be Here Now!”

As we enter not only a new year, but a new decade, there is value in taking some time for personal reflection, assessment, and setting some targets of spiritual consciousness. We should never underestimate the power in being honest and authentic with ourselves as it relates to taking the next step in our spiritual awakening. We all have inner work to do. Everyone does! It is why we are here!

It is not negative to point out that none of us knows for sure that we will have another whole year or decade to do what we came to do and be. What we know for sure is that we have this day. And tomorrow, when we get there, we have that day. Life is to be lived in the now. Time waits for no one. Every Now Moment is our greatest moment, because it is only there,…in the now, that we can be awake, aware, fully alive, engaged with energies of love, peace, oneness and joy, that are natural to our spiritual God-like nature.

New Year’s resolutions can be good. However, they are typically a statement of who we will be in the future. Our busy minds keep us in the past or future. Perhaps we should consider the resolution, to “BE HERE NOW” in honor of Ram Dass, who recently passed on and wrote a book by that title. In the Now Moment is the only place God can be found. As Ram Dass said, “When you are already in Detroit, you don’t have to take a bus to get there,” and also said, “The next message you need is always right where you are.” God and everything good is to be found in the present moment!
